How the risk gate works
GodFin is a pre-trade risk gate. You place an order, the gate checks it against the risk rules you set, and only orders that pass go on to your broker. Orders that break a rule are blocked before they reach your broker.
Broker connections are being switched on one at a time as production credentials and partner approvals complete.
GodFin makes no market predictions and generates no trading signals. In July 2026, GodFin audited its earlier internal LSTM and sentiment prediction models, found no measurable predictive edge, and permanently retired them.
Your unified risk rules
These are the default limits the gate enforces. You can set stricter limits for your own account, and prop-firm presets add the firm's limits on top.
The walkthrough
Choose your limits, or use a prop-firm preset. The gate uses 2% risk per trade, a 20% maximum position, a warning at a 4% daily loss, a hard lockout at 5% daily loss, and a 20% total drawdown kill switch.
You place the order as usual. GodFin receives it for checking before it reaches your broker.
The order is measured against position size, daily loss, and total drawdown, and against any prop-firm limits that apply. If any limit would be breached, the order is blocked and you are told which rule stopped it.
Orders that pass go on to your broker. Blocked orders do not. Broker connections are being switched on one at a time as production credentials and partner approvals complete.
Risk management
Position sizing limits, daily-loss controls, and drawdown protection, enforced before the trade. The gate blocks orders that would put more than 2% of equity at risk, exceed a 20% position, push the daily loss past the warning at 4% and the hard lockout at 5%, or breach the 20% total drawdown kill switch.
Prop-firm presets
Prop-firm accounts get the firm's limits as a preset, with safety buffers: the firm's account drawdown limit, daily-loss limit, and contract limits are enforced by the gate, so you are locked out at the daily-loss limit and stopped at the maximum drawdown, and position size is kept within the firm's per-contract limits. The same unified rules apply — 2% risk per trade, 20% maximum position, a warning at a 4% daily loss, a hard lockout at 5% daily loss, and a 20% total drawdown kill switch — unless the firm's preset is stricter.
What GodFin does not do
- GodFin does not hold your funds. It is non-custodial; your funds stay with your broker.
- GodFin makes no market predictions and generates no trading signals.
- GodFin does not place orders on its own. It only checks the orders you place and blocks the ones that break your rules.
