Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

GodFin ("we", "us") is software for trading through accounts you own, operated by GodFin LLC, 228 Park Ave S #78417, New York, NY 10003, USA. This policy covers godfinapp.com and the GodFin iOS and Android apps. Contact: hello@godfinapp.com.

2. What we collect

• Account connection. When you connect a broker, exchange or Kalshi, or start the demo: the broker name, account number or ID, paper/live mode, and the credential needed to act for you (an OAuth token, the API keys you enter, or a SnapTrade user ID and secret). Credentials are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored. We never ask for your brokerage password; OAuth and SnapTrade sign-in happen on the provider's own page.
• What you set up in GodFin. Bots, price alerts, risk limits, prop-firm rules, your TradingView webhook token, demo-account balances and trades, and a log of the last 100 orders, alerts and bot actions.
• Optional email. If you add an email to a price alert or join the waitlist.
• Mobile app. A device token that keeps the app signed in, and, only if you turn on notifications, an Expo push token for your device.
• Technical data. A functional session cookie (HttpOnly, no tracking), and short-lived request logs (IP address, URL, time) kept by our hosting provider for security and debugging.

We do not collect your name, address, government ID, contacts, location, or payment card details. We do not use advertising, analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or cross-app tracking.

3. How we use it

• To place the orders, run the bots and check the alerts you configure, through the account you connected.
• To apply your risk limits before every order.
• To send alert emails and push notifications you asked for.
• To send waitlist and product emails (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. Who processes it

• Cloudflare hosts GodFin and stores account data (Durable Objects, KV) in the United States.
• Your broker or exchange (for example Alpaca, Kraken, Tradovate, ProjectX/Topstep or Kalshi) receives the orders and account requests you make through GodFin, under its own privacy policy.
• SnapTrade, if you connect a brokerage through it, links GodFin to that brokerage.
• Brevo sends emails.
• Expo (650 Industries) delivers push notifications to the mobile app.
• Kraken public market data is used for crypto prices; no personal data is sent with those requests.

5. Deleting your data

In the app: Settings → Delete account and data. On the web: Brokers → Delete my GodFin account and data. This immediately deletes your account record (encrypted credentials, bots, alerts, history, rules, demo data, push tokens) and signs out every device. It does not close or change your brokerage account; revoke API keys or OAuth access at your broker too. To remove a waitlist email, use the unsubscribe link or email us.

6. Retention

Account data is kept until you delete it or disconnect (disconnecting removes stored credentials and stops bots). Request logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Credentials are encrypted at rest with a server-side key. Each order passes a server-side risk check. No system is perfectly secure; create API keys with the least permissions needed and never enable withdrawals.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA, UK or California), you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or object to processing. Most of this you can do yourself in the app; otherwise email hello@godfinapp.com. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA.

9. Children

GodFin is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We will post updates here with a new date and highlight material changes in the app.
