1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of GodFin (the website at godfinapp.com, the web app and the mobile apps), operated by GodFin LLC, 228 Park Ave S #78417, New York, NY 10003, USA. By using GodFin you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GodFin.

2. What GodFin is, and is not

GodFin is software that connects to brokerage, exchange and futures accounts that you own, and places orders that you configure, manually, through bots or through webhooks, subject to risk limits. GodFin is not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, exchange, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor or fiduciary. GodFin never holds your money or securities; your broker does.

Signals, scores, research, backtests and other content are general, impersonal information. They are not a recommendation to buy or sell any security, future or digital asset, and they are not tailored to your situation. Backtested and hypothetical results have inherent limitations and do not represent actual trading.

3. Risk

Trading stocks, options, futures and crypto involves substantial risk of loss, including loss of more than your initial investment for leveraged products. Automated trading can lose money quickly. Software, connections, brokers and markets can fail, delay or behave unexpectedly. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, bot configurations, and every order placed in your accounts through GodFin. Only trade money you can afford to lose. Use paper or demo accounts first.

4. Your accounts and credentials

You connect accounts by OAuth, through SnapTrade’s connection portal, or by entering API keys you create. You must only connect accounts you own or are authorized to operate. Create API keys with the minimum permissions needed and never enable withdrawal permissions. Credentials are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time; you should also revoke keys at your broker.

5. Prop-firm accounts

If you connect a proprietary trading firm account, you are responsible for complying with that firm’s rules, including any restrictions on automated trading, copy trading, news trading or account ownership. GodFin’s prop-firm presets and safety buffers are conveniences that may be out of date; they do not guarantee that you will pass an evaluation or keep a funded account.

6. Risk limits

GodFin applies risk limits (for example maximum risk per trade, position size, daily loss and drawdown) before sending orders. These limits reduce but do not eliminate risk. They depend on data from your broker, can be bypassed by orders placed outside GodFin, and may not prevent losses from gaps, slippage, outages or fast markets.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use GodFin to violate any law or any broker, exchange or firm rule; to manipulate markets; to access accounts you are not authorized to use; to interfere with or probe GodFin’s systems; or to resell GodFin without permission.

8. Fees

GodFin is free during the beta. If paid plans are introduced, prices and terms will be shown before you are charged, and you can cancel before any charge. Your broker, exchange or firm may charge its own fees, commissions and data fees.

9. Third-party services

GodFin relies on third parties such as brokers, exchanges, SnapTrade, market-data providers, Cloudflare and email providers. Their services are governed by their own terms, and GodFin is not responsible for their availability, accuracy or conduct.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

GodFin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that GodFin will be uninterrupted, error-free or profitable.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GodFin LLC and its members, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any trading losses, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of GodFin. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid GodFin in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify GodFin LLC against claims arising from your use of GodFin, your trading, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party rule.

13. Termination

You may stop using GodFin and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect users or GodFin. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in New York County, New York have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
